Kathleen Caprario - OSU Art Faculty Exhibit

Kathleen Caprario has a painting in the OSU Art Faculty Exhibit at the Fairbanks Gallery. The exhibit will run until October 7 when there will be a closing reception at 4:30-6:00 pm. Caprario teaches drawing, color, and painting at Lane Community College, Oregon State University, and the University of Oregon.

Carrie O'Coyle Richenberg - "Whispers" in Mayor's Art Show

"Whispers" a convex form by Carrie O'Coyle Richenberg, drawing and design instructor, has been accepted into the Mayor's Art Show. The show runs from September 3 through October 21.

The Mayor's Art Show, a juried exhibition of work by Lane County artists, is in the Jacob's Gallery in the lower level of the Hult Center located at One Eugene Center Eugene, OR 97401, (541) 684-5635. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday, 12-4 pm, Saturday 11 am - 3 pm, and one hour prior to and during all Hult Center performances. http://www.jacobsgallery.org/

The Bunny Show - Faculty Exhibition

The LCC Art Gallery presents "The Bunny Show" an exhibition by faculty of the Art and Applied Design Department. The show runs from September 29 to October 22; the opening reception is on October 7 at 4:30 pm.

The LCC Art Gallery is located in Building 11 on the main campus of Lane Community College at 4000 East 30th Avenue, Eugene, Oregon; hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Andy Salzman - Juror for Mayor's Art Show

Andy Salzman, ceramics and sculpture instructor, was a juror for the Mayor's Art Show, an all-comers juried exhibition of work by Lane County artists. The official mayor's show included about four dozen works chosen from 260 pieces. The opening ceremony and awards was held on Thursday, September 3. The show runs from September 3 through October 31. Rejects from the mayor's show were elgible for hanging in the Salon des Refuses.

Adam Grosowsky - Landscapes and Figures

Adam Grosowsky, instructor of painting and drawing, has an exhibit "Landscapes and Figures" at the Karin Clarke Gallery from September 1 to October 10. The opening reception was on September 4. The oil painting shown here is "Kaya with Green Blinds."

Teresa Hughes - Mentor for Media Arts Students

Teresa Hughes, instructor of video production and cooperative education in the Multimedia Department, is featured in a photograph on Lane's main webpage. http://www.lanecc.edu/

Chambers Communications of Eugene won the 2009 Cooperative Education Employer of the Year Award. Chambers Communications has mentored 56 and hired 41 media arts students over the past two decades.
