Kathleen Caprario was featured in an article in Eugene's Register-Guard about her three-week artist's retreat at Morris Graves' former studioin northern California. Caprario described how her retreat started out intimidating, but soon turned productive. She spent the three weeks drawing, sketching, painting, walking near the lake, and writing in her journal.The article, titled "Working Vacation" appeared in the August 27 issue of the Register-Guard. Caprario teaches drawing, color, and painting at Lane Community College, Oregon State University, and the University of Oregon.
