Andy Salzman, ceramics and sculpture instructor, was a juror for the Mayor's Art Show, an all-comers juried exhibition of work by Lane County artists. The official mayor's show included about four dozen works chosen from 260 pieces. The opening ceremony and awards was held on Thursday, September 3. The show runs from September 3 through October 31. Rejects from the mayor's show were elgible for hanging in the Salon des Refuses.The Mayor's Art Show is in the Jacob's Gallery in the lower level of the Hult Center located at One Eugene Center Eugene, OR 97401, (541) 684-5635. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday, 12-4 pm, Saturday 11 am - 3 pm, and one hour prior to and during all Hult Center performances. http://www.jacobsgallery.org/
