The LCC Art Gallery is pleased to present "Whenever It Comes" a collective body of work by Portland artist Mark Perry. The show consists of work based in printmaking, including processes such as relief, intaglio and woodcut.
When asked to describe his work, Perry had this to say, Most of my imagery is non-representational with symbolic and recognizable elements involved. Most of my prints are one of a kind, and all of them are hand printed via a press. The main theme has been based on "fate."
The show runs from October 26 to November 12. There will be a reception on November 4 at 4:30 pm.
The gallery is located in Building 11 on the main campus of Lane Community College at 4000 East 30th Avenue in Eugene. The gallery is open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Contact information: gallery director, Jennifer Salzman at 463-5964, office hours Tuesday and Thursday, 10:30-11:30 am. Or contact the Art Department office at 463-5409.
