Kristie Potwora - Chance to Flourish Exhibit at OSU


Kristie Potwora, silk screening instructor at Lane, will have her work shown in "Chance to Flourish: Private, Public, and Wild Gardens" an invitational show at the Giustina Art Gallery in the LaSells Stewart Center on the campus of Oregon State University. The show runs from March 1-30, with an Artists' Reception on March 17 at 6-8 pm.

The show is sponsored by the College of Agricultural Sciences. Thirty-five artists who are represented in the College’s Art About Agriculture permanent collection were invited to submit one recent work of art relevant to the garden theme of the show. The Giustina Art Gallery is located in the LaSells Stewart Center at OSU, 26th & Western Blvd., Corvallis, Oregon. Their website is: http://agsci.oregonstate.edu/art/wild-gardens

"Oh Sister, My Sister" (silkscreen, encaustic, oil) is included in the show (above). "Amanita (silkscreen) is from their private collection and will also be exhibited (right).
