Tom Madison, Graphic Design instructor, has designed nine banners for the new Health and Wellness Building. Tom worked with the Dean of Health Professions, the Foundation Director, the President's Office and the architects to conceptualize what would look good as celebratory banners for the grand opening on September 23. The banners will also be used for recruiting and other functions as they list the various professions certified through the Health Professions department. The nine banners measure 3 x 7 feet each. They were created using a process called "dye sublimation," where heat transfers ink printed onto a paper substrate right into the nylon of a fabric banner. They each come with their own stand.
You may view photos of the design and production process taken with Tom at Imagine Group and photos of the banners in the Health and Wellness Building taken at the grand opening on September 23 on the department's Flickr page. http://www.flickr.com/photos/laneccarts/sets/72157625123167990/
