
When asked about what inspires her photography, Anne stated, “I drift with the camera, creating layered images while walking through both new and familiar places. These images transcend a static pictorial representation of landscape space creating a sense of movement and time, more closely representing my psychological and physical experiences.”
In discussing his approach to his work, Rob stated, “I distill images into simpler fields of color, reflecting the way art, through graphic design, has helped reduce the world into marketable products. The simplification of concepts into shared symbols and icons has always intrigued me. Humor and an appreciation of the absurd are vital to me.”The show runs from November 15th through December 2nd. A lecture featuring both artists will be held on November 18th at 3:00 pm with a reception immediately following at 4:00.
