Satoko in "Landscapes by Gallery Artists" at White Lotus, June 3 - July 30

White Lotus Gallery is pleased to announce a special open house event for jewelry artists Suzanne Linquist and Christine L. Sundt and ceramicist Hank Murrow. It will be held at the gallery on Friday, June 3, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, June 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will showcase new works by the artists.

Also on June 3, an exhibit of Landscapes by Gallery Artists will open and feature works by Northwest and Asian artists such as Jon Jay Cruson, Satoko Motouji, Connie Mueller, Gary Tepfer, Maurice Van, Her Xuesheng, and Li Yanpeng. Showcased media range from acrylic, watercolor, and oil paintings to photography and woodcut and linocut prints. The exhibit will be on display through July 30.

Inclusion and Distillation: Black and White


Inclusion and Distillation: Black and White is at the Jacobs Gallery at the Hult Center and features works by printmaker Susan Lowdermilk, fiber artist Marilyn Robert, and painter Satoko Motouji. The exhibition runs from May 7 to June 12; the Artists' Insight Talk will be on Friday, May 7, 3:30-4:30 pm; the Opening Reception and First Friday Artwalk will be on Friday, May 7, 5:30-8:30 pm.

The Jacobs Gallery is located on the lower level of the Hult Center for the Performing Arts in Eugene. Gallery hours are Tuesday - Friday, 12:00-4:00 pm, Saturday 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, and one hour prior and during all Hult Center performances. Satoko - One-person show in Tokyo - Towards Light

Satoko is pleased to invite you to her one-person show "Towards Light" at the Gallery UESTO in Tokyo. The exhibit runs from September 7-12. The Gallery UESTO is located in the Ginza in the center of Tokyo, Japan.

Satoko is giving a lecture in conjunction with the show at Meiji University in Tokyo on September 9.

Satoko Motouji teaches painting, watercolor, drawing, and basic design at Lane Community College. For more information, contact the Art and Applied Design office at 463-5409.

Satoko in White Lotus Gallery Show

Satoko is showing her work in the "New Work by Gallery Artists" at the White Lotus Gallery. Exhibition dates are November 4 to December 24 with a First Friday Art Walk on November 7, 5:30-8:00 pm. This group show includes work by Jon Jay Cruson, Nonie Fish, Helen Liu, Connie Mueller, Jamie Newton, Walt Padgett, Nancy Pobanz, Gary Tepter, and Maurice Van.

Satoko teaches painting, water color, drawing, and design in the Art and Applied Design Department at Lane Community College.
