Student Work on Flickr

Student work created in a variety of classes in the Art and Applied Design Department is now available for viewing on the department's Flickr site.  The collections include work from Basic Design, Color, Drawing, Painting, Ceramics, Book Arts, Printmaking, Fiber Arts, Sculpture and more. http://www.flickr.com/photos/laneccarts/collections/

League for Innovation Student Art Competition

Congratulations to the five art students whose art was selected as Lane's entries for the League for Innovation Student Art Competion and to all the outstanding works submitted.


The competition is a means to showcase a selection of the best works being created by community college students. This year's competiton is hosted by the Seattle Community Colleges. Awards including monetary awards and certificates of merit will be awarded to students whose works advance to the national competition.









Lane's winners are:

Amelia Beiderwell "Timeline"
Deborah Bulcao "Mother and Child"
Kathy Gunson "Late Fall Apples"
Bruce Kleinfelder "Girls in Blue Dresses"
Phyllis Null "Fields Near Pisgah"
