Dan Welton Photographs at Dot Dotson's

Dan Welton is having an exhibit of photographs at Dot Dotson's Camera Store from January 11 to early February.  Dan teaches photography at LCC and this exhibit includes a collection of photographs from trips to Italy with his family.  Dotson's Camera is located at 1668 Willamette St., Eugene, OR.

Susie Morrill - Cuban Photographs


Susie Morrill: Tan cerca, tan lejos: Cuban Photographs.  Twenty photographs taken in Cuba by LCC photography instructor Susie Morrill will be on exhibit at Dot Dotson's from September 14 to October 11.  The exhibit is titled "Tan cerca, tan lejos :so near, so far apart".  A reception will be held on September 14, 5:00-6:00 pm. Dot Dotson's is located at 1668 Willamette St. in Eugene, Oregon.

The photos shown here are "Farmer with Ox" and "Plaza de San Francisco."

Exposed - Photo Exhibition, Feb. 6-23

The Lane Community College Art Gallery is proud to present EXPOSED, an exhibition featuring LCC Media Arts Photography instructors.
This exhibition will feature contemporary work representing all forms of photographic expression. Exhibiting artists include: Ian Coronado, Anne Godfrey, Richard Lennox, Camilla Dussinger, Damian McDonald, Susie Morrill, Michael Phillips, Jeri Mrazek, Jennifer Salzman, Dan Welton, Rick Simms, Jeff Goolsby, and Rick Williams.
The show runs from February 6 to February 23. An artist reception will be held on Thursday, February 9 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The reception is free and open to the public. The gallery is located in building 11 on LCC's main campus, 4000 E. 30th Avenue. There is no charge for admission. The Art and Applied Design Department phone number is 541-463-5409.

Caprario & Lowdermilk Studios in Photo Exhibit

LCC instructors Kathleen Caprario and Susan Lowdermilk are featured in Widescreen, an exhibit of panoramic color photographs taken by Dennis Galloway in the studios of various Eugene area artists and crafters. A photograph of printmaker and book artist Susan Lowdermilk in her studio was featured in an article about the exhibit in the September 19 issue of The Register-Guard.

Kathleen Caprario and her studio is also featured in the exhibit. The Register-Guard said that Caprario's "home studio is filled with books, and you can read the titles. It will come as no surprise to anyone who knows her work that a lot of them are about Byzantine art.

Ths exhibit, Widescreen, will be on the second floor of the Eugene Public Library through October 31.
